SwitchMonitor v3.6 Released with Live Netflow Module

June 17, 2009, Santa Clara, CA ― PathSolutions’ Netflow module is revolutionary in that it the only solution on the market that is able to report on live, in-progress flows. This answers the critical question of who is slowing down the network and what they are doing, live.

Other Netflow collectors are limited in that they can only report on flows after the flow is completed (when the slowdown event is over). Existing Netflow solutions also suffer from scalability issues, as they recommend collecting flows from only 3-4 interfaces before requiring additional high-powered collection servers.
